TOPIC: What Christ Did Is Enough (TREM Devotional 29 January 2026)
“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” – Colossians 2:9–10 (NKJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, wherever you are, you are carrying God. His presence is not a place you enter into, it is the atmosphere you live in. Saying “Let’s enter into His presence” is a misunderstanding of our identity in Christ. We are already there! His presence is our home.
Many times, due to our religious upbringing, we speak and sing words that subtly contradict the truth of who we are in Christ. Such expressions may sound spiritual, but they can reshape our mentality and keep us struggling in areas where we should be reigning in victory. It’s time to align our words with the reality of redemption.
In Christ, you are more than a conqueror! What Jesus did for us was both substitutionary and sacrificial. He did not just die for us; He died as us. He was buried as us, raised as us, and seated as us in the heavenly places. That is where every believer sits. That is your position, your abode, your permanent identity in Him.
When we speak or think contrary to this truth, we are, in effect, suggesting that what Jesus did is not enough. But, beloved, what Jesus did is enough! His finished work is perfect and complete. Because of Him, we are now God’s own people, and we have obtained mercy.
“Who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” – 1 Peter 2:10 (NKJV)
Mercy and grace speak for you daily. Though we live in a fallen world that constantly tries to stain and weigh us down, God has made provision for our continual cleansing and renewal.
That is why Scripture says: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)
When you approach the throne of grace, mercy meets you first. Mercy washes away every stain and removes the residue of weakness and guilt. Then grace empowers you to live victoriously, to stand tall in your divine identity, and to walk boldly in the completeness that Christ has secured for you.
Beloved, you are not incomplete, not lacking, not half-made, you are complete in Him. Rest in that truth today.
