TOPIC: The Contrary Wind Will Not Stop You (TREM Devotional 7 May 2025)
“And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.” (Mark 6:47-48 KJV)
MESSAGE:
The Lord said to the disciples, get into the ship and let us cross over to the other side. And as they obeyed the Lord, the bible says there arose a great storm in the sea. Somethings may have arisen to challenge the Word of God in your life, but whether the devil likes it or not, the Word of God has already gone ahead of you ever before you started your journey. And so, the Word will surely overrule for you. No matter how contrary the wind is, you will celebrate. You are the next in line for testimony. Nothing will abort your celebration. You will celebrate concerning your finance, your ministry, family, academics, and in all of your endeavours. No power of darkness will be able to stand against you.
Despite the storm, the disciples crossed to the other side successfully. You will cross to the other side. You are moving from poverty to prosperity. You are moving from fear to faith. You are moving from emptiness to productivity. You are moving from sickness to health. There is the other side of your challenge, and you will get to the other side. Nothing will stop you. In Christ, you are unstoppable.
One thing you must understand is that, when you are moving into the prophetic destiny that God has ordained for you, there will be contrary wind. However, settle it in your heart is that no matter how contrary the wind is, you will come out victorious. Your case will not end in disgrace. It will never end in shame. I see a change in your life. Your colourful destiny shall be fulfilled. My God will do it for you.
