TOPIC: Your Redeemer Lives (TREM Devotional 8 August 2025)

“For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth.” – Job 19:25 (NKJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, all through the God is revealed to us as our Redeemer. He is not a passive or powerless figure, but a mighty, compassionate, and ever-living Savior. He is not distant or indifferent. He is strong, present, and deeply moved by our pain. The Bible says He is touched by the feelings of our infirmities. He sees your silent tears, your unspoken prayers, and the struggles you cannot voice. He knows every detail of your life down to the number of hairs on your head. Your Redeemer is not only aware of your situation; He has the capacity and willingness to bring you out of it.

Job’s declaration in today’s scripture came at a time of unimaginable personal loss and suffering. He had no answers for what he was facing, but he held on to one unshakable truth: “I know my Redeemer lives.” That statement was not just a confession of faith, it was a declaration of hope, assurance, and trust.

To redeem means to buy back, rescue, restore, and set free. And for someone to qualify as a Redeemer, certain conditions must be met: He must be able to identify with your situation, there must be a personal connection, He must be willing to act, and He must have the power and resources to redeem.

Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, fulfills all these requirements perfectly. He left heaven to identify with us. He took on human flesh to walk where we walk and feel what we feel. He was not just willing, He gave His very life. And He has the power, by His resurrection, to redeem completely and eternally.

No matter how complex or painful your current situation is, let this truth anchor your soul: Your Redeemer lives!
