TOPIC: What Is In Your Heart (TREM Devotional 8 December 2025)
“Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.“ – Matthew 12:33-35 (KJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, many today are quick to blame God for their circumstances: “Why am I like this? Why can’t I succeed?” The question you should be asking is: Why am I not appropriating what God has already given me? Why are you remaining passive, indifferent, or lukewarm, when the power of success, blessing, and prosperity has already been deposited within you?
This scripture is profound and reveals the mechanism for success. “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” Whatever fills your heart—your thoughts, your meditations, your imagination—will flow through your words. God created the universe through His words, and He upholds all things by the power of what He speaks. Your words have the same principle: what comes out of you reflects what has been cultivated inside you.
So today, ask yourself: What am I feeding my heart? What am I meditating on? What am I allowing to dwell in my spirit?
Success, blessing, and fruitfulness follow the condition of your heart.
Whatever you nurture and cultivate inside will manifest in your life. Plant good treasures in your heart, meditate on the Word of God, and speak forth life and victory. The fruit you produce will reflect what you have deposited inside.
