Topic: Have A Vision Vision is a mental picture of your destiny, seeing the future before it comes into view. It is the act of seeing things that are invisible. It means having a global picture of your defined goals, dreams and objectives from the onset. Jer. 29:11 -For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. A man with vision is a man that cannot be stopped, there’s power in what you see. A man with vision sees ahead, knows ahead, prepares ahead and goes ahead. It is vision that separates you from mediocre. Joel 2:7-8 – They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. A man with vision knows what to give up to grow up, what to let go to move on. He sees ahead to go ahead. Many people’s problems is that they see only the present not the future. A man with a vision knows that he is not just going to the top, but he is to make a difference when he gets there. He thinks differently, positively and creatively. Thinking conventional thoughts will limit you; the difference between an educated man and an intelligent man is that, education tells you what to think about, intelligence is how to think. A visionary accepts challenges because challenges are the stepping stones of life. Every challenge is a potential blessing if you confront it, have faith. Faith makes you see God as equal to the task. Once you’re a man of vision you’re known for something not everything. Keep working on yourself. Your vision determines your destiny. It is the mental picture of your future. Vision is simply seeing future before it comes into being. To live a successful life requires pursuing your vision with a revolutionary mindset and a visionary can never be intimidated. Make a difference at the top! Have a vision!
