Topic: Righteousness Exalt a Nation
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34
During a life musical concert recorded at Liberty University, The Vine Center Lynchburg, Virginia 1998, titled: “Majesty”, the Convener Dr Ron Kenoly sent a message to America. In his message, he said America should return to righteousness, America was a nation established on righteousness, but now, they have exalted their right above God who made them righteous. He told America to stop the war against unborn child, but should return to moral responsibility and they should stop spending the inheritance of their children but return to living their lives within their means. Stop writing laws inspired by lust and convenience, but should return to the laws that God has written in their heart. He further warned them that, if they don’t stop war and violence in their nation, they will fall apart. This message is not only for America but to all the nations of the earth who has abandoned the ways of God, they must return back to righteousness, lest, they fall apart.
Only righteousness exalt a nation and a people, injustice, violence and unrighteousness bring down a nation and ruin the people. The Bible says in Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
