TOPIC: Your Choice And Your Future (Seeds Of Destiny 15 August 2025)

SCRIPTURE: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People make choices and choices make people.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:

A critical assessment of life and the lessons drawn from daily experiences of people confirm that life is a product of choices. Everything about life revolves around choice. The choices of yesterday determine the placement of today. This implies that the choices you made yesterday or failed to make are responsible for the place you find yourself today. And the choices you are making today is determining right now where you will be tomorrow.

Beloved, it is crucial to also note that the road you choose determines the place you end. There are many people in prison now because of the choices they made. There are many single ladies with unwanted pregnancies and unplanned and fatherless babies/children because of the choices they made. So, life is a product of choices.

Please take note of the following:

  1. People make choices and choices make people. When you make a choice, the choice turns around to make you. The only thing you can do is to make the choice; after you have made the choice, it is the turn of the choice to make you. Your choices are in your hands, but the consequences are not in your hands. For instance, a student made a choice to graduate with a first class. He gave the choice what it took, and the choice made him a first-class graduate and gave him high level opportunities in life.
  2. A Life left to chance has no chance. Whenever you see someone, whose life is left to a chance, that life has no chance. A life without choice has no chance. Those who live causally end up as casualties.

Now, let’s look at the profitable choices we can make in life.

  1. The choice to serve God (Joshua 24:15).
  2. The choice to live an upright life, not living a double standard life (Daniel 1:8, Job 27:1-6).
  3. The choice for quality relationships because you make friends and friends also make you (1 Corinthians 15:33).

Friendship is not by force; it is by choice.

  1. The choice for productive time investment. This is making a choice that you won’t waste the time of your life (Ephesians 5:15-16). Time is an asset of irreplaceable value; you cannot store it, save it, or keep it, you can only invest it or waste it.
  2. The choice for quality resources investment (Proverbs 21:20). How you use money, or resources today determines how tomorrow will use you.

Remember this: People make choices and choices make people.

ASSIGNMENT (S):

  1. Go through the outlined profitable choices you can make in life in today’s lesson and consciously put them to practice.
  2. Put God first in the choices of your life.
  3. Refuse to make choices that will keep you in regret tomorrow.

PRAYER: O Lord, guide my steps each day. Help me to make choices that will profit me in time and in eternity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
