BIBLE READING: Joel 2:25-28
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
PRAYERS:
1) Father, I thank You for all the elders around me. Please give them more wisdom to counsel and lead the younger generation aright.
2) Father, please help all the elders around me to finish well. None of them will lose their place in Your kingdom, in Jesus’
name.
3) Father, please heal all the elders around me who may be sick in their bodies. Touch them and take away the sickness, in Jesus’ name.
4) Father, please give all the elders around me divine health, sound mind, and long life, in Jesus’ name.
5) Father, please help all the elders around me who may have stopped dreaming to begin to dream again and see mighty visions in their old age, in Jesus’ name.
6) Father, please protect all the elders around me in all their ways. Let the blood of Jesus speak for them every day, and let no harm come near them or their dwelling, in Jesus’ name.
7) Lord, by Your mercy, none of the elders around me will be put to shame. Their enemies will not mock them in their old age, in Jesus’ name.
8) Father, please let all the elders around me live fulfilled lives. They will see their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, even to the fourth generation, in Jesus’ name.
9) Lord, all the elders around me will not have a cause to sorrow over their children in Jesus’ name. Amen.
10) Your personal prayer requests.
