TOPIC: Why Jesus Delays (Open Heaven for Teens, 15 November 2025)
MEMORISE: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness: but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. – 2 Peter 3:9

BIBLE READING: 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 (KJV)
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
MESSAGE:
We are already in the end time, and false teachers and doctrines are springing up from every nook and cranny of the world with teachings that contradict the Bible, especially on the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ such that many genuine believers are now wondering why Jesus has not returned.
When I gave my life to Christ many years ago, some Christians stopped pursuing their goals and aspirations, saying that they needed to win souls as Jesus would soon return. It has been over 45 years now, yet He has not returned. Do not be fooled; Jesus already promised that He would return, and He will not fail concerning His promises.
The delay in Jesus’ return is for these reasons: to allow more people to surrender their lives to Him and to allow more Christians to serve God better in order to get more crowns and stars as their reward. My dear child, do not be caught unawares. Jesus is coming back soon!
REFLECTION POINT:
Are you preparing for the Lord’s coming?

HYMN 28 – What Can Wash Away My Stain
1 What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain:
O precious is the flow
that makes me white as snow;
no other fount I know;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
2 For my pardon this I see:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my cleansing this my plea:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
[Refrain]
3 Nothing can for sin atone:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Naught of good that I have done:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
[Refrain]
4 This is all my hope and peace:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my righteousness:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
[Refrain]
