TOPIC: The Proof Of God’s Love (TREM Devotional 21 December 2025)
“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” — 1 John 4:9-10 (KJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, the proof of God’s love for you is not measured by what you possess—your money, your cars, your houses, or your material achievements. While there is nothing wrong with enjoying these things, they are not the ultimate demonstration of God’s love. The true proof is far greater: Christ died for you. That is the ultimate expression of divine love. He laid down His life so that you might live.
Scripture reveals that God Himself took the initiative to define love.
As Jesus said in John 15:13:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
Many of us, however, become discouraged, indifferent, or lukewarm simply because temporary needs remain unmet. Perhaps you haven’t yet received that husband, that promotion, that car, or that thriving business. Yet, the love of God is not contingent on these circumstances.
God’s love for you is irrevocable and unchangeable. It is eternal, steadfast, and unwavering. He loves you so deeply that He gave His Son, ensuring that your life can be rich, purposeful, and fulfilling.
Receive this revelation, and let it transform how you view yourself, your circumstances, and the abundant life God has prepared for you.
