TOPIC: The Pursuit Of Vision (Seeds Of Destiny 12 January 2026)
SCRIPTURE: I will stand upon my watch, and set eme upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. – Habakkuk 2:1-2

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
One of the most potent forces for destiny fulfillment is the force of vision. The vision of today is the reality of tomorrow.
If there is going to be a reality tomorrow, there must be a vision today. The picture of today becomes our future with time. If you desire a future, you must begin with a picture.

Purpose and vision are the values of life. The absence of vision is the devaluation of life. When people are visionless, they are valueless.
However, not everyone can move from vision to reality. Not everyone can move from the picture to the future.
I remember growing up, we had several people who had visions – visions to be evangelists, ministering in South Africa, and so on. But somehow, 90% of those visions never saw the light of day. There are many people who claim to have a vision, but those who manifest and live in the reality of the vision are few. The problem is not that they lack a vision; the problem is that they don’t know what to do to take their vision to realisation. Moving vision to realisation takes a process called pursuit. Pursuit is required for possession. Pursuit is necessary for manifestation. It is essential to understand that purpose and vision don’t fulfill themselves; they must be pursued.
The Scriptures make it clear that vision must be pursued for it to be fulfilled.
Now, what is the impact of pursuit?
- To pursue is to pressurise towards fulfillment or realisation. When a vision or purpose is pursued, you have put it under pressure for realisation. It does not matter how pregnant you are on the day of labour until you are ready to push, you are not ready to deliver. Vision is like a pregnancy, and the process of pursuit is the pressure that pushes it out. No midwife would love a woman in labour enough to smile with her when she is not ready to push.
- What is not pursued cannot be possessed. For anything to be possessed, it must be pursued. Hunters know this. Pursuit is a survival strategy for vision. The reason we have different levels of possession in life is because we have different levels of pursuit.
- What is not pursued may not be possible. So, if it is to be possible, it must be pursued. Vision unpursued is a vision unpossessed and unrealised. It does not matter how big that vision is; if it cannot be pursued, it cannot be possessed. Possibility is a child of pursuit. David did not know it was possible to pull Goliath down until he dared him.
Beloved, whatever God tells you can come to pass; the question is, are you ready to pursue it?

PRAYER: Father, help me to pursue my God-given vision unto manifestation. Give me the grace to do all it takes to realise my vision, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
