Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
It has been confirmed that in our generation, there are so many Christians whose prayer altars are broken down or literally non-existent.
One reason why we have either broken down or non-existent prayer altars is that many people do not understand what a prayer altar is all about.
The altar of prayer is the place where we stand to get to know our Maker and not necessarily to ask or make requests for material or physical things. It is a place of fellowship and communion, where we service our relationship with our Father.
For example, if I am communicating with my wife and children, it is not because we have a request for each other, but because we have a relationship that is buoyant.
The prayer altar services the relationship between man and God. It is the communication that services the relationship between man and God. Our anchor Scripture reveals that Abraham rose early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord. It didn’t mention that he stood there to ask or request anything. He just stood before the Lord. Elijah says in 1 Kings 17:1, “Before God whom I stand…” He didn’t say, “I am standing there and making some requests.”
Zechariah 4:14 says, Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
Beloved, if there is anything to ask at all, it is asking to know Him as Moses did in Exodus 33:13 &18.
Any relationship that lacks communication is bound to fail. Just as Moses sought to know God, so must we engage in continual communion with God through prayer, for it is through this fellowship that understanding and trust are formed. When words cease, walls rise; when openness fades, distance grows.
REMEMBER THIS: The relationship between man and God is serviced through prayer.
