7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

MFM Devotional For Today 2026 MESSAGE:
As we begin to look at the topic before us today, let us first look at the personality of the Holy Spirit. Who exactly is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the third person in the God-head. The Holy Spirit is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. He is the Executive Director of God’s operations here on earth. We are first introduced to Him in Genesis 1:1-2. The Holy Spirit is not a force, or an influence, or a thing. Therefore, the pronoun “it” must never be used for Him.

Part of the glorious works of the Holy Spirit is in the supreme task of soul winning. Every true church must be committed to soul winning. Every wise disciple must also be involved in soul winning. However, no church or any Christian can effectively handle the task of soul winning without a strong input by the Holy Spirit. It is Him who empowers believers to proclaim the gospel. At the same time, it is the Holy Spirit that convicts sinners of their sins. He produces conversion and regeneration by making one to be born again.
The Holy Spirit also liberates from the power of sin and death so that the converts will be holy and empowered to live a holy life. The Holy Spirit gives inward assurance of salvation. The Holy Spirit also gives divine boldness and power to continue preaching the Word of God (Acts 2:14; 4:8; 5:29).
This was highly demonstrated in the lives of the Apostles. Acts 4:8 says: “Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:..”. This was the same Peter; whom we saw not too long ago in the Gospels, cowering before this same set of people, denying his Lord and Master for fear of whatever he thought they might do to him.
Now, standing to address them boldly in the power of the Holy Spirit, thousands were converted to the way of truth (Acts 2:40-41;4:4).

- Holy Spirit, overshadow my life, in the Name of Jesus.

- Holy Spirit, incubate my spirit, soul and body for soul winning, in the Name of Jesus.

- Lord, let there be a new wave of revival in the Church for evangelism, in the Name of Jesus.
- Lord, pour your Holy Spirit upon me afresh for soul winning, in the Name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost fire, fall upon me like the day of Pentecost, in the Name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, help me to be a faithful witness for Your Kingdom, in the Name of Jesus.
