TOPIC: You Are Established In Righteousness (TREM Devotional 24 April 2026)
“In righteousness shall thou be established; thou shall be far from oppression; for thou shall not fear; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.” – Isaiah 54:14 KJV
MESSAGE
To be established in righteousness means to be founded and instituted in it. It means to be firm and stable. It means you have been proven, accepted, and recognised. It means to enact, to appoint, to ordain for permanence as a law. It means to fix without changing. It means to be entrenched, secured, settled, deep, and permanently rooted.
An understanding that your righteousness status is a gift that you received at salvation will make you bold and daring. You will be ready to march into Satan’s territory to possess your possession, knowing that Satan has no choice but to obey because of your standing.
Righteousness is the right standing with the Holy God, which sinners receive because of His grace. He allows you to come and stand before Him as if sin does not exist and as somebody who has not sinned. Not that you didn’t sin, but God says, I allow you to come in.
It is standing before God without fear, inferiority, condemnation, accusation, or judgment. This is because every judgment you would have received has been put on Christ. There is no more judgment for sin on the believer.
Isaiah 53:6 says, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” That means, if He has put it on Him, you don’t have it anymore. Verse 10a says, “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him…” That is a rich and heavy-duty statement.
How can it be a pleasing thing to bruise His only begotten Son? It pleased Him because He had seen you in Him. He knows that you are going to emerge from Him. So during that bruising, God was looking at the end result.
You are the end result of the sufferings and the price He paid. That is why you can declare that you are a child of God, and it will be accepted before Him.
