TOPIC: Walking In The Supernatural (TREM Devotional 3 May 2026)

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. – Mark 16:17-18 (KJV)

MESSAGE

God is so supernatural, but many times His supernatural manifestations are so natural. And that is why people don’t want to believe it easily. You have a problem when you start saying, “I must see lightning before I can believe.” If you are a believer, then the signs are meant to follow you.

The beauty of it is that Jesus did not say in your own name, it is in His own name. All you need to do is have faith in Jesus. He is not telling you to have faith in yourself. In other words, when you pray in the name of Jesus, He takes over and does the miracle.

If you are in the church and you are not praying in the language of the Spirit, you are missing one of the graces of God for these last days. This is the language that you use to cut off the devil. You don’t even want to know the far-reaching effects because, for many years after, the manifestations of what you are asking God for will keep happening.

There are things you pray about today, and they will only manifest in ten years, and you think it is the prayers that you just prayed.

When the Lord said, “They will pick up serpents,” some people might misinterpret this to mean literally handling snakes for spectacle. However, if you find yourself in a situation where the only way of escape is to pick it up, you can do so, and God will shut the mouth of the cobra.

What God is telling you is that “Don’t be inhibited by any fear. Just go ahead and preach. Whatever stands in your way, I will deal with it.” The scripture also mentions drinking deadly poison. But this does not mean seeking it out to prove a point.
