OPENING PRAYER: Father, grant me every provision required to be Your favourite and remain Your favourite.
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: Leader should remind the members about last week’s lesson on then and now.
MEMORY VERSE: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. – Romans 9:13 (KJV)
BIBLE TEXT: Numbers 12:6-8 (KJV)
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
LESSON INTRODUCTION: Being God’s favourite means you are divinely, most preferred above others and being divinely chosen over others. Everyone redeemed by the shed blood of Christ has been given access to divine inheritance and the procurement of God’s promises; that is why you must do everything in your capacity to be amongst God’s favourite who is duly granted provision to enjoy divine benefits others are exempted from.
LESSON AIM: To help members know what it takes to be and remain God’s favourite.
TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to:
- Know who God’s favourites are.
- Know that you can become God’s favourite.
TEXT REVIEW: NUMBERS 12:6-8
a. God makes provisions for His favourites.
b. God’s favourites are faithful in all their dealings.
c. They have special qualities that make them sought after in divine plans.
d. Any act against God’s favourites may incur God’s wrath.
LESSON OUTLINE ONE: WHO ARE GOD’S FAVOURITES?
GOD’S FAVOURITES ARE:
- Humble and teachable. Numbers 12:3
- In deep intimacy with God. Moses’s relationship with God is exceptionally special. Exodus 33:11.
- Conscious in preserving God’s secrets and ensure perfect adherence to His instructions. Hebrews 3:5
- Courageous and bold. Hebrews 11:24-26.
- Those who sacrifice earthly gains for divine purposes.
- Those that have deep compassion for God’s people. Exodus 32:32.
- Patient and also endure. They depend on God totally. Timothy 2:3.
- Vessels unto honour with servant-leader’s heart. 2 Timothy 2:2.
LESSON OUTLINE TWO: YOU CAN BECOME GOD’S FAVOURITE
To become God’s favourite, you need to:
- Walk in obedience. Job 36:11
- Be faithful in small things that are committed to you. Joseph was faithful even in prison. Luke 19:17
- Have a heart of intercession and a positive attitude to defend the divine cause. 1 Samuel 17:36
- Seek God’s will above your own. Elisha left all to follow Elijah.1 Kings 19:19-21
- Be a deep worshipper: John 4:23-24
- Serve others with joy, help those in need. Acts 9:36-42.7. Have a heart of gratitude. Luke 17:17-19, Psalm 103:1-14
SUMMARY: You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for the time to favour her, yes, the set time has come.
CONCLUSION: To become God’s favourite, cultivate a heart that God can trust, be humble, be compassionate, faithful and deeply intimate with Him.
PRAYER POINTS:
- Father, thank You for loving Daddy and Mummy G.O. and count them as Your own.
- Lord, let Daddy & Mummy G.O. and the entire RCCG continue to enjoy Your favour.
- Lord, remove anything in my life that blocks me from enjoying Your favour.
- Lord, mark me for distinction by Your favour.
- Father, preserve me and my household as Your favourite.

TUESDAY: You have found favour in My sight, and I know you by name, Moses. Exodus 33:17.
WEDNESDAY: And the child Samuel grew in favour both with the Lord and me. 1 Samuel 2:26.
THURSDAY: Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her. Esther 2:15.
FRIDAY: For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous with favour; You will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 5:12.
SATURDAY: Now God has brought Daniel into the favour and good will of the chief of the eunuchs. Daniel 1:9.
SUNDAY: We are God’s friends. John 15:15,
