TOPIC: You Are Kept By The Word (Seeds Of Destiny 7 October 2026)
SCRIPTURE: Who being in the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power. Hebrews 1:3
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If the Word of God can keep the world of men, then the Word of God can keep you.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2026 MESSAGE
The Word of God is not only powerful enough to create; it is powerful enough to keep what it has created. The whole earth is kept till date by the Word of His power.
Hebrews 1:3 says that Jesus is “upholding all things by the Word of His power.” Second Peter 3:7 further says, But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store.
This means that the earth, the stars, the galaxies, the atmosphere, and all things in the universe are being kept by the Word. If the Word of God can keep the world of men, then the Word of God can keep you.
Now, how does the Word keep us?
- The Word keeps us by establishing boundaries
Proverbs 8:29 shows us that God gave the sea His decree, “that the waters should not pass his commandment.”
When you go to the beach, you see the waves roaring and charging forward, but suddenly, they return. The fact is that they don’t just retreat; there is a decree that they cannot cross. God gave a command that the waters would not overrun the earth again, and that decree still stands.
If the sea is not permitted to trespass against the injunction of the Word, then it is possible for the Word to keep the devil from trespassing. It is possible for Word decrees and injunctions to stop every force of hell that wants to overrun your life.
- The Word keeps us by sustaining what God has established
The earth is kept in its orbit by the Word of His power. The sun is positioned at the best possible place; if it were closer to the earth, the earth would burn, and if it were farther away, everything would freeze.
All of creation is kept by the Word of His power.
The same Word that keeps the earth in its place can keep your life in place. You are not kept by your strength; you are kept by the Word.
Beloved, give yourself to the study of the Word because the heavens and the earth are kept by the same Word. Every force of hell seeking to overrun your life shall be stopped by the power of God’s Word.
REMEMBER THIS: If the Word of God can keep the world of men, then the Word of God can keep you.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
- Give yourself to the consistent study of the Word of God.
- Identify Scriptures in the areas where you need God’s preservation and meditate on them.
- Consistently declare God’s Word over your life and family.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for the power of Your Word that sustains and keeps all things. Let Your Word preserve my life, establish divine boundaries around me, and stop every force of hell seeking to overrun my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
