MESSAGE
Friendships play a huge role in shaping our lives as humans, but not all friendships are beneficial. I mingled with boys with wild lifestyles in my youth, and this cost me a lot until Jesus saved me. Good friends can inspire growth and positivity in you, while bad ones can corrupt you morally. Ask yourself if your friends have led you closer to God or drawn you away from Him.

Ungodly friendships are often fueled by those who appear to be friends but are actually foes. They encourage manipulation or gossip and try to draw a person away from godly values. Beloved, you need to be alert and watch out for red flags when choosing friends. For instance, you have no business being friends with someone who is disrespectful to elders and teachers, gossips at all times, or gets punished constantly for wrongdoings. Watch out for calm, studious, respectful, and Christ-like people to befriend. Anyone who is not godly cannot be your friend; be wise in choosing your friends.
