And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. Luke 21:34
There are three basic needs that man worry over mostly, Shelter, Clothes and Food. Other things can follow, achievements, fame, status, position, love, affiliation, etc. These are some of the things that make man worry and those things are earthly. Know this for sure that the needs of man are unlimited, the resources to meet those needs are limited according to economist. The world is limited and cannot meet the needs of man. Therefore, since man’s needs are unlimited, he need an unlimited source to meet all his needs. This is why man cannot do without God because it’s only Him that is unlimited. The world is full of all kinds of problems, so when you care about it, you carry all of its problems on your shoulder. This is why every worriers look rejected, dejected, defeated, frustrated, confused and miserable. Worries give you work to do and add nothing to you, it steals your greatest asset away – your Joy and Peace of mind. Worries present you the temptation to see God as your problem.
To escape all miseries in the world today is to care less of it and no man can do this by strength. This is why 1 Pt. 5:7 says, Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Worriness is another sin that will cause many Heaven also because they will care for this passing world until they miss out. Care less of the world and care more of heaven.
*God will take over all your cares as you hand them over to Him in Jesus name.
