All is now set for President Muhammadu Buhari to administer oaths of office on his 36 ministers whose appointments were recently confirmed by the Senate.

The President is also expected to announce the ministries where the ministers will serve during the inauguration billed to commence at 10am at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday (today).

Our correspondent learnt on Tuesday that after the recitation of their citations, the ministers will take their oath of offices in batches before the President.

They will thereafter sign the register which will be counter-signed by the President.

Immediately after the ceremony that will be open, the first meeting of the Federal Executive Council will hold behind closed-doors.

Ahead of the ceremony on Tuesday, our correspondents reported that government officials were seen embarking on last minute preparations to ensure a hitch-free programme.

Workers of the construction giant, Julius Berger Plc, who are in charge of the maintenance of the Presidential Villa were seen moving more chairs from the old Banquet Hall to the venue to accommodate all those expected at the event.

The President had earlier restricted the number of guests that can accompany each minister to the inauguration to two per minister.

The workers were also seen trimming the flowers behind the platform where the President and other members of the FEC will take their first group photograph at the end of the inauguration.

As of the time of filing this report, the list of the ministers and the portfolios that will be attached to them still remained a top secret.
