Read: Ephesians 5:1-5

Memorise: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20

  1. Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
  2. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
  3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
  4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
  5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Bible In One Year: Zechariah 1-3; Revelation 17:1-18

An ambassador is an official who represents a country or an organization. If you are Gods ambassador, you are special to God because you are His representative on earth.

As an ambassador, your duty is to reflect the character of the person whom you are representing – God. For instance, you cannot dress half naked or use profane language and claim to be a representative of God because God is righteous and holy. He cannot behold iniquity. Therefore, as an ambassador, you should hold strongly the principles and commandments of God, especially when the world expects otherwise. The values and virtues of a Christian teenager should be found in you.

There are some benefits attached to your position as an ambassador of Christ. You get to enjoy some privileges that are not common to other fellows. One of the privileges is immunity; you have immunity against sicknesses, diseases and attacks of the wicked. No harm can come near you and your loved ones. In addition, you will prosper in all that you do. So why shouldn’t you be a true ambassador of Jesus Christ?

Are you a true ambassador?

Hymn: What Can Wash Away My Stain?

  1. What can wash away my stain?
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    What can make me whole again?
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! Precious is the flow,
That makes me white as snow!
No other fount I know;
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

  1. For my cleansing this I see?
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    For my pardon, this my plea ?
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
  2. Nothing can for sin atone,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
    Naught of good that I have done;
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
  3. This is all my hope and peace,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
    This is all my righteousness,
    Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
