Memorise: He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. Proverbs 14:17

BIBLE READING: Ephesians 4:29-32

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Bible Reading In One Year: Psalms 112-115; 1 Cor. 1:1-31

MESSAGE:

It is so unfortunate that the devil has deceived a lot of persons through our Bible reading today. He has told them that they can be angry, but they should not stay angry for too long. Child, the moment you allow that o sink into your mind, out might be in trouble someday.

Anger is momentary insanity. It destroys many things. One day, we went to prison and I met a brother who had been sentenced to life imprisonment, just because he got angry, slapped someone and the person died instantly. His anger did not even last five minutes and yet he became a murderer even though it was not intentional.

You need to watch yourself, your words and your actions when you are provoked to anger because the devil can enslave you by your words and actions at that moment. Rather than get angry when provoked, walk away from the scene and sing praises to God. And if you are with someone older than yourself, just control yourself. This might not be easy, just ask the Holy Spirit to help you.

Action Point:
Ask God to deal with any root of anger in you.

Hymn: Take My Life And Let It Be

1.Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord to thee
Take my moment and days
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.

2.Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of thy love
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for thee

3.Take my voice and let me sing
Always only for my king
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from thee.

4.Take my silver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as thou shalt choose.

5.Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall no longer be mine:
Take my heart, it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
6.Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At They feet its treasure store;
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for thee
