Another four years for President Goodluck Jonathan, will place Nigeria on a better pedestal of growth and development.

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi stated this while inspecting the state of preparedness at the Lokoja Township Stadium, venue of the rally for Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of the President who is due in the state tomorrow.

Dame Patience Jonathan would be in the state in continuation of her nation wide sensitization tour ahead the March 28 Presidential election and to galvanize women to vote President Jonathan.

Awoniyi described President Jonathan as the best option now for Nigeria in view of the change the country has witnessed under his leadership, said the people of the state have resolved to throw their weight behind him in view of the benefits the state stands to derive under his leadership.

Awoniyi listed the completion of Lokoja Abuja road, the Ports at Lokoja and Idah as well as the Federal University established in Lokoja as reasons why the state will remain solidly behind the President.

The Deputy Governor added that the on going repairs of Kabba to Ilorin road which had not been rehabilitated in the last thirty years, the establishment of a staple crop zone at Alape and the on going rehabilitation of Ajaokuta Ayingba road, as other reasons why the state is in the forefront for the reelection of President Jonathan.

Awoniyi disclosed that the state is ready to receive the Wife of the President, disclosing that the excitement and zeal displayed by the people is an indication of their support for President Jonathan.

Awoniyi urged the women of the state to in their large numbers turn out enmass to accord the wife of the President a rousing welcome disclosing that another four years for the President will usher in a high level of improvement in the well being of women of the country.

Awoniyi described Kogi as a PDP state, said the present administration has keyed into the transformation of President Jonathan for women by giving them appointment and other benefits assured that the women of the state will have a better four years if the President is reelected.
