Players of one of Nigerian National League, NNL campaigners Supreme Court football club of Abuja have expressed their readiness to go all out and fight for every point in the ongoing league season.

Despite not taking part in the first matches played at weekend after both the league body and Nigeria Football Federation, NFF ruled that their opponent FC Taraba have not been certified to feature in the current campaign, Supreme Court FC Captain Hilary Nkaru said his teammates are prepared for action when they take on Kwara United on Friday.

According to Nkaru who spoke after now fewer than 27 players were unveiled alongside new Coaches including Chief Coach Hakeem Taiwo, his Assistant Abdulrazaq Jibril and Goal keeper trainer Patrick Okeleke as well as Team Manager Cletus Nwaobi said; “We want to thank the management of the team for the privilege of playing for the club. Before now, we as players have been determined to carry out the instructions already given to us by our coaches.
“We know that we need to be at the top when the season ends. And so, we will do everything possible to make our fans and the management proud.”

New set of kits designed by Owu comoany for the season were also made public.

On his part, Technical Adiviser Joachim Osuji vowed that the technical crew that was carefully selected will deliver on their mandate.

“I believe in the players we have, we have a very good team, and I believe by God’s grace, we don’t have doubt on the team. And our aim is to pick the premier league ticket,” He affirmed.

Also speaking, new team Manager, Nwaobi assured that all necessary registration and other administrative steps have been taken in line with the rules guiding the game to forestall any future  occurrence.

General Manager, Tolulope Oguntimehin backed by FCT FA representatives including Referees and Football coaches Association expressed confidence that the only Abuja-based side in NNL will not perform below expectations.

He assured of the club management’s willingness to ensure steady support for the high-rising team.
