Good observers of happenings in Kogi State will have course to reason with me that Capt Wada is a great mistake to the people of Kogi State as far as leadership is concerned. Three years into his administration, the people of the state cannot point to any tangible projects executed by his administration.

The state has witnessed worst development as welfare of the people is concerned.  Capt Wada has not shown capability to turn things around as under this watch everything was brought to stand-still with the state experiencing total collapse of infrastructure and economic meltdown.

It is only in Wada’s administration, civil servants in the State turned beggars as salaries not paid regularly with workers receiving percentage salaries in most occasions.  What common term that an outsider or close observer might use to describe the state is one that pays percentage salaries to workers with backlog salaries unpaid.

The local government workers were not excluded in this hardship as they live at the mercy of the state Governor who always slashes their monthly allocations with no explanation.

Anyone who cares to monitor trend of things in Kogi State will agree with me that the Governor is only known for rolling out cosmetic achievements. This is the repercussion of foisting a Leader without any creative ideas on the people of the State.

How would a state Governor showcase installation of Electricity Transformer to local communities as achievements when his contemporaries in other state are building industries for their people with the aim of reduction unemployment level in the state.

One sector in the state that has experienced total collapse is educational sector. Recall that his predecessor maintained payment of school fees to secondary students in the State and this year, capt Wada could not continue with that. The present Attorney General of the federation, Muhammed Adoke had to intervene by bailing them to pay WAEC School fees of secondary school students in Kogi Central.

The recent NUC ranking of universities in Nigeria has put Kogi State University, Ayigba as second to the last. Kogi State University was 119 positions out of the 120 universities in Nigeria. Last year, the university ranked 120 out of the 120 universities in Nigeria.

What does this potent to the people of Kogi state? As one can critically evaluate, the state is not making progress if not why the only state University in Kogi always remain on the bottom of the ladder without any appreciable upward ranking. Today the same university is on strike and Governor Wada is not doing anything to call off the strike.

The sorry affairs of Kogi state as stated above has clearly shown that Governor Wada is good for nothing. The good people of Kogi state must put their axe together to shove off this unperforming and unproductive Governor (Capt Wada) from Kogi State comes 2016 election.
