Newly wedded Couple have been asked to allow love, faithfulness and togetherness be the foundation on which to build their marriage.

Capt Idris Wada, Kogi State Governor gave the advise at the wedding fatiha between Musa Yunusa   the son of Hon Yakubu Yunusa, Majority Leader, Kogi State House of Assembly and Aisha Abdullahi daughter of Alh.Ibrahim Abdullahi, Halims, Held in Ankpa.

Capt Wada described marriage as a blessing from God to mankind, appealed to Nigerians to cherish and protect the marriage institution, disclosing that it has the capacity to make the society a better place if homes are peaceful and stable.

The Governor who was represented at the fatiha by his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, urged the new couple to allow the love that brought them together at first, continuously bind them together, disclosing that  it remains the major ingredient for a successful marriage.

The governor congratulated the parents of the newly wedded couple, describing them as people of distinguished personalities who are examples in hard work and trustworthiness, urged the couple to in their family and private lives emulate those qualities exhibited by their parents that has stood them out in the society.

Capt Wada prayed God to provide, strengthen and offer refuge to the couple even as they begin their march to family life.

In their separate remarks, Hon Yakubu Yunusa, father of the groom, and Hon Ibrahim Abdullahi, Halims, father of the bride, expressed gratitude to those who attended the wedding, and advised the newly wedded couple to be tolerant and patient with one another, prayed God to bless the marriage with blessing and prosperity.

The wedding fatiha was conducted by Alh Rabiu Mohammed, the Deputy Chief Imam of Ankpa Central Mosque.

Personalities that graced the occasion include the Chief of Staff, Nasiru Yunusa,Members of the State Executive Council, Members of the State Assembly, Alh Jibrin Isah Echocho and several other personalities from all works of life.
