A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Be Mindful of the Company You Keep

I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Corinthians 5:9. Read: Psalms 1:1-3

There is a saying that, if you follow pig, you will soon begin to eat excretion and eventually find yourself in the mud, and when you follow dog, you will find yourself braking bone. The Bible says, Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 1 Cor 15:33. Haven’t you see good people turning bad and wicked? Haven’t you see good husband or wife becoming something else? And you begin to wonder what would have happened? Some of those traits emanate from evil companies. The company will keep can influence us greatly – positively or negatively. You must choose your company carefully and what you listen to. Follow the company of those that will lead you aright not astray. Friends that we bring out the best in you, friends that will tell you the truth and add value to your life positively. Pro 27:17.

You might likely replicate the company you keep. This is why Paul told the Corinth brethren to keep away from fornicating brethren, drunker, smoker, worldly music and worldly fashion. Keep company with those that will help your faith grow in the Lord and surround yourself with Christian materials and music that will enhance your faith in God.

* Parents, monitor the company your children keep and pray for God’s guidance over them.
