And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Ephesians 9:3. John 1:1-5
I am often baffled when people try to treat God like a beggar or a poor God probably when they are commanded by God to give away their possession for His use or to give it out to His servant. They complain and murmur. They use mental ascent (instead of heart faith) to analyze the situation and give God the reasons why they cannot give that thing away. They quickly forget that, “A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven”. “And that, Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights”. John 3:27, James 1:17. God is not a beggar and certainly not a poor God because, “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein”. “And For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills”. Ps 24:1, 50:10. God created everything, owns everything and controls all things by His power.
Whenever God ask you for anything, not for His sake but yours because He wants to promote you to the next level. If He ask you for your money, not because he needs money, because, He can give power to make wealth. Beloved, if God ask you for food, not because He is hungry but because He wants to make you a channel of blessing to others. It’s more blessed to give. Swallow your pride and make yourself available for His use because God created you for His pleasure not displeasure.
It’s a privilege to be used by God. Are you willing?
