Topic: Don’t Be Ignorant Of His Devices

The devil is a trick master and those that usually fall victim to him take him for granted. Pastor E. A Adeboye always say, You can call devil any name, but don’t call him a fool because he is not. Whenever you want to take the devil as fool, I want you to remember that, he is still the old dragon who poisoned the hearts of one third of angels against God by tricks just because he wanted to sit on God’s throne. He deceived the first man and caused them to sinned against God in the garden of Eden. Will you call such thing a fool? Of course, he is not.
But then, his devices (tricks) will not work on you as long as you do not give him legal ground to stand in your life. If you are not keeping his property, he can’t take advantage of you by trick. One of his property men keep which causes them to fall prey to his tricks is unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is devil’s property and whoever that harbour it is already ignorant of his devices and a victim. This is why the Bible in Ephesians 4:26-27 says, Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Unforgiveness open the door of your heart to the devil to come in to batter your life. It keeps you in prison of bitterness, resentment, hatred, grief and misery. Finally, Unforgiveness makes its recipient a candidate of hell fire.
