A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Don’t Ensnare Yourself with Your Mouth

He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Proverbs 13:3. Read: Eccl 5:2

The Bible says, When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? Ecclesiastes 5:4-6. Angel stands before you and seal the covenant of your vow immediately you utter it, there is no, it’s an error. So, before you speak out, examine yourself. .’Scripture above said, it’s better not to vow than vow and not be able to pay it.

You that vowed to marry that lady/man, yet, you failed to fulfill your promise, you have ensnared yourself with your mouth. If you are not sure, don’t promise, keep your mouth shut to keep your life from destruction. Don’t let pride lead you to making a vow you know you won’t fulfill. Many are suffering from this disease today both spiritually and physically. Don’t ensnare yourself with your mouth  because this ends one in untold hardship. Be led by God’s Spirit to make vows.

* Destruction awaits covenant breakers, don’t be caught in the web.
