A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic – Prayer: A Potent Weapon

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24. Read: – 2 Chron 7:14

One of the devastating weapons many (including some so-called Christians) have relegated today is prayer. Due to haste, unbelief and inconsistency, many have concluded and classified prayer to be a weak weapon. From generation to generation, prayer has proven to be a potent weapon either to protect or change a bad system. Prayers have worked wonders before and still works wonders today because, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Heb 13:8. Prayer only becomes a potent weapon in the mouth of the righteous (James 5:17) while weak and powerless in the mouth of the unrighteous. When things are good, prayers are needed for its sustainability and when things are bad, prayers are also needed for its change for the better. If there are men to pray, there is a God to answer such prayers.

But today, instead of praying when a system is perceived to be bad or flopping, men spend hundred of hours castigating, hurling insults and curses and shifting blame to the person they suppose is the cause. Praying more is the key to a happy and peaceful coexistence. Bible says, “if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land. One minute prayer goes a long way to changing bad situations. Fulfill the conditions of prayer and pray always.

Are you His people, complain less and pray more, He will heal our land.
