From time immemorial, the sinful nature has made man believe that he has nothing to offer when God Almighty has loaded him with potentials to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and to dominate all He has created on earth. Gen 2:28. God has always believed in man’s potential but man has always reciprocate unbelieve in himself: God knows the stuff man is made of (from God’s image), man lack knowledge about himself. When God called Moses to go and saved his people, he objected and complained of his inability. He told God of his weaknesses but God rebuked and replied him of His knowledge about all his weaknesses because He created him. Gideon also complained of his weaknesses, And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, Judges 6:12-16. God created you with lots of potentials, you must need to discover them through Jesus Christ in order to impact your world for him. You’ve got something to offer beloved, don’t belittle yourself. You are loaded.
The widow told the prophet, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. That thing you count insignificant in your hand or life is what God wants to use to make you great, go ahead and surrender it to God (like the widow) because he only can make the little a thousand and a mighty nation. Isa 60:22.
