A Promise For You From Bible Promises: [24/06/16]

Topic: When He Takes Over, It Is Over

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15. Read: 2 Chro 20:22-24

Whatever is committed into God’s hand is secured and protected forever. The wise knows that one of the secrets of winning battles sweatlessly is involving a stronger ally to help fight your strong enemies. Battles are part and parcel of human life, but whether you win or lose depends on you and your choice to make. Knowing the weapons of our warfare and not knowing how to strategize and deploy them is worthless. Jehoshaphat knew the weapons of our warfare and how to use them in battle. Few kings came against him, knowing that their combination was destructive, He ran to God for help and God told him, The battle is not yours, but mine. Off course, the end result was a sweatless victory. God took over their battle and it was over. They didn’t have to fight for their victory, God did.

It doesn’t matter what you’re going through now, if you can allow God to take over, it shall be permanently over. Moses said to the troubled Israelite, “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace”. Exd 14:14. Transfer that challenge to God (through praise) and watch Him take over.

* As the LORD takes over all challenges of your life, they shall be a thing of the past in Jesus Name. #JoyFulWeekend
