A Delta flight from Atlanta with 125 passengers aboard skidded off the runway upon landing at New York’s LaGuardia airport Thursday and came to a stop in a snow bank.

Delta Flight 1086 was arriving from Atlanta, according to Delta. The passengers used the emergency slides to leave the aircraft, according to the airlines. The aircraft’s nose was seen resting on a berm, appearing to have pushed through a fence.

Three minor injuries were reported, one person with a neck injury and two with back injuries, according to the New Jersey and New York and New York Port Authority dispatchers. Officials were also evaluating five pregnant women.

All of the passengers were taken by bus to a nearby Delta terminal. The Port Authority dispatcher said the plane was carrying a crew of seven.

“Our priority is ensuring our customers and crew member are safe,” the airlines said in a statement. “Delta will work with all authorities and stakeholders to look into what happened in this incident.”

All flights into and out of LaGuardia were halted until 7 p.m. [USAToday]
