Supreme Court FC Striker Paul Samson has declared that his teammates will fight hard and finish the first round of Nigeria National League (NNL) with a convincing victory come Friday they face Wikki Feeders of Bauchi in one of week seven matches in Abuja.

Nicknamed Drogba, Samson however apologized to Fans for the team’s not too impressive performance so far this season but assured of their readiness to write the wrongs in due time.

While appealing for continued support from all Stakeholders, Samson called on Fans to come out en mass to cheers them to expected win when the game gets underway at Area 3 playground as from 4pm.

According to him; “All hope is not lost, the management has been supportive despite the fact that we are facing tough times. We as players believe in ourselves and nothing will demoralize us.”

Apex Boys Chief Coach Taiwo Hakeem revealed that the coaching crew which is now being spearheaded by Coach Bala Nkiyu has been working of hard to put the players in the right frame of mind.

Hakeem expressed optimism that the team will fare much better when the upcoming second stanza of the league kicks off adding; “We expect to win our last match in the first round because it will serve as morale booster ahead of the next round.”
