Thought For The Day: Praying His Will is the secret of winning in prayer
Prayer is the connecting link between a man and His Maker. Prayer establishes God’s Presence around a man’s life and the Presence of God is needed to fulfil destiny. Therefore, refusing to pray is to be empty of Divine Presence.
Effective prayer registers an impact on three realms: the realm of God, the devil and the one who prayed. Prayer changes people. The Bible said that as Jesus prayed, ‘…the fashion of his countenance was altered’ (Luke 9:29).
When some people pray, God is not touched; neither is the devil nor the person who prayed.
What kind of prayer touches God, the devil and the person who prayed? It is praying in the will of God.
For prayer to receive an answer from God, it must be done according to the Will of God. The Word of God is the Will of God. The word ‘Testament’ means ‘Will’. ‘Old’ and ‘New’ Testament means the old and new Will of God respectively. Many Christians carry the Will of God in the form of the Bible but are dying of spiritual starvation every day.
Beloved, ensure that your prayer is word-based and you will receive speedy answers from God. Praying His Will is the secret of winning in prayer
