Ese Oruru, the girl who was allegedly abducted by one Yunusa from Bayelsa state and taken to Kano state where she was converted to Islam, is at present at the police headquarters in Abuja. She was accompanied by her alleged abductor, who was in handcuffs.
Ese, covered in a hijab, was escorted into an office at the seventh floor of the police building. She looked firm without a smile on her face.
Olabisi Kolawole, police spokesperson, told journalists that Ese’s parents were still being expected.
She disclosed that they would arrive about 4pm.
