Reports just reaching our newsroom say Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court has acquitted Chief Femi Fani Kayode of both counts of money laundering.
The former aviation Minister has been facing trial for alleged criminal acts committed during his time as Minister.
The Judge described the prosecution’s case as “feeble” and Fani-Kayode was duly discharged in the absence of “copious evidence.”
