“Please what ever is your grievance with the PDP House of Assembly candidate in Mopamuro LGA, for my sake lets put it behind us and vote for the party, I beg you all”.

These were the appeal of Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, when he met with party faithful, and other interest groups in Mopamuro LGA, at the weekend.

Awoniyi working tirelessly and vigorously to deliver Hon Eric Fiki, as Member Kogi State House of Assembly, said his experience which accounted for his emergence as candidate, will be brought to bear if elected to the state assembly.

Awoniyi described Mopamuro as an area that is the bedrock of PDP since its inception, urged the people to think realistically of what the area stand to benefit under the party and not vote out of malice and other sentiments that will not move the area forward.

The Deputy Governor lamented the involvement some PDP members in anti party activities at the last Presidential and National Assembly election, urged the members to put the sad episode behind them and work for the party.

Awoniyi expressed optimism that with the resolve by people of the area to win in the next election, said the party will will record a landslide in the next poll.
