One of the other sides of human beings is to oppress the less privileged. Hence, someone said, if men were God, things would have gone awkward. Thank God men are not God but God is God. God defends the oppressed and hates oppression. Some when given the privilege to lead, they begin to oppress those they are leading. Some civil servants deliberately refuse to pay the salaries of their workers not because the money is not there, but they want to prove that they are the boss. They want their workers to come and beg them before they will pay their salaries. They feel that is the best way for their workers to fear and respect them, no, the best way for your workers to do things perfectly (even in your absence) is to pay their salaries promptly.
You may not value the less privileged but God Almighty does. He cares for the fatherless, the widows and the widowers, so, be careful how you oppress them because if they report you to God, He will plead their cause and you might be doomed. Are you oppressed by the oppressor, don’t feel helpless for your Maker – God cares for you greatly. Now, cry to Him now for that oppression and He shall fight your cause in Jesus name. Pro 22:22-23, 23:10-11.
