A human invention that have really made life easier to live is the concept of insurance. Insurance is a policy that enables you pay today for future mishaps. It helps you know that the risks involved, depending on what you are insuring, will be taken care of by the insurance policy.
Anxiety and fear of possible loss is actually the reason people buy insurance. But still, with the insurance policy, there is anxiety and fear of possible loss or mishap of the entity insured.
However in Christ, that fear is eroded. Jesus is not only an insurer, He is our security. In Him all that is ours is secured. Scripture says about His name, that “the name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe” (Psalm 18:10). In Jesus you are secured. There is no anxiety or fear of possible mishap that He has not provided for. He is our insurance company. And we don’t have to buy insurance from Him. He has given it to us free of charge.
One of the reasons the Lord wants us to live without fear of insecurity is because He wants us to live our lives to the fullest and to love Him. When you are free from fear and anxiety you are free to love and live your life to the fullest, making maximum impact. Fear torments you and leaves you spiritually, psychologically, physically and emotionally drained (1 John 4:18). But that’s not God’s plan for you. You are insured and secured in Christ. Go and live out your life to the fullest.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You Lord for being my insurance and security. I am secured in You. You are my strong tower and I am assured that I am safe. Even when mishaps come, my insurance is fully paid for by You, free of Charge. Be praised, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
