A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Heavenly Valued and Earthly Useful. Pt One [23/11/2016]

And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. Genesis 24:35. Read: Gen 12:1-3

Many people think when Jesus said unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matt 19:23), that what he meant was, rich people cannot enter heaven. No, that is not what he meant. The rich man in Luke 16 went to hell not because he was rich, no, he actually went to hell because he didnt hàve Christ as his Lord and personal Saviour. He was a lover of pleasures more than God. 2 Tim 3:4. If prosperity is bad, why would God give power to make wealth? Deut 8:18. Why would God in His Word say, My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread. Zec 1:17. Why would the Bible say, The blessing of the LORD maketh RICH, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Pro 10:22. Beloved, it will interest you to know that the Lord rejoices in the prosperity of His children.

So, you can be useful to humanity on earth and be well recognized in heaven even with your wealth. God’s blessings upon your life is for the furtherance of His Kingdom here on earth and not to be consumed on your self alone. God promised  Abraham in Genesis 12 abundant blessings and by the time his servant was describing him, he said, And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great. With all his great blessings, yet, he was a friend of God. And today, we sing, Abraham blessings are mine. You can be useful to God and humanity.
