I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2 Timothy 4:7. Read: 2 Tim 4:1-8
Yesterday, I rounded up by asking some specific questions, That talent God gave you, are you using it for His glory? Will you be able to say to Him, I have accomplished my mission? To start with, many do not even know if they have talent (gift) or not. Many just move on earth aimlessly. Well, let me tell you today, that God never created anything without a purpose for everything was created to give Him pleasure. You must deliberately ask your manufacturer (God) to show you the gift He has deposited in you and when you discover it, pursue it passionately until you utilize it, don’t give up on your dream. The Bible In Ephesians 4:7, 11 says, “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers”. Apart from ministerial gifts, God in His wisdom has wired in you gifts to impact this world for him which is why He said, “Occupy till I come”.
Like Jesus Christ said in John 17:4, Paul was also bold enough to say the same thing, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. He could say this because of the encounter he had with Jesus on the road to Damascus in Acts 9. You need to have an encounter with your Maker to discover who you are and His glorious plan for you. Jer 29:11. No matter how little that gift seems now, when you begin to use, it will develop and God will pour His grace upon you to excel. Go in his might because God is with you.
