A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic:  It Has Been Nailed To His Cross [08/02/2017]

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. Read: Rom 5:8-12

The third stanza of the Hymn “When peace, like a river attendeth my way”, popularly called “It’s well with my soul”, written by Horatio G. Spafford, sings

My sin- Oh, the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin-not in part, but the Whole
Is nailed to His cross; and I bear it no more:
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul.

Oh yes, your sin not some but all has been nailed to His Cross, you need not to bear it anymore. When Jesus was nailed foot and hands, the truth is, your sin, my sin and that of the world was actually what was nailed. Sin is too weighty, if Jesus wept even before and when He took the sin of the world upon Himself, what makes you think, you can survive that sin you still carry about?

Stop bearing the sin that Jesus has paid for on the cross ignorantly and claim your freedom. Before the foundation of the world, even before you were born, Christ has paid the price for your sin, but you must make a conscious effort to relinquish it to Him. It’s one thing to know that you are free but another thing to claim such freedom with your mouth. Rom 10:9-10

* Father, I surrender (rededicate) my life to you now and claim my victory over the burden of sin in Jesus name.
