There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler: I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. Ecclestiaste 10:5, 7. Read: Eccl 10:5-7
When an earthly King discovers that the Prince or the Princess moves outside the palace without an entourage, he gets upset because of the danger involved. In the creation order, God gave charge to humanity to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth”. Gen 1:38, Rev 5:10. God’s plan for His children is good with glorious end, unfortunately, not many are walking in this plan. When the children of God are living below standard, what happened? The preacher said, it’s an evil that prevails under the sun. Many factors could have been responsible for this evil while children of God are walking like servants instead of Princes. It could be enemies. Daniel had to pray for twenty one days before he could get answers to his prayers, but the angel told Daniel that the very first day he knelt to pray was the day answer to his prayers were released.
Another factor that could be responsible is disobedience on the part of that child of God. For instance, Deut 28:1-14 enumerates many blessings which obedience can bring. You will be the head not the tail, you shall lend to nations and not borrow. This also means that, obedience keeps evil at bay.
