Captain Idris Wada New Governor of Kogi State

The State Deputy Governor, Mr. Yomi Awoniyi has described the outgoing Commandant Army Record, Charimegumeri Barracks Lokoja, as a complete soldier, whose contribution to the security of the state would be greatly missed.

Awoniyi, commended the cordial working relationship that has existed between the Nigeria Army, located in Lokoja, when Maj. Y.M. Abubakar, visited him in his office.

Awoniyi who bidded the commandant farewell said, on behalf of the State Governor, Capt Idris Wada, said his invaluable contribution at the State weekly Security Council meeting would be missed, said the contribution helped the State maintain its peaceful status.

Awoniyi assured of continuous partnership with the Army command on the State, said the Capt Wada administration would continue to make security of lives and property in the State a priority.

In remarks, Maj. Y.M. Abubakar, commended the Capt Idris Wada led administration for its support to security agencies in the State, and solicited for more of such cooperation for the incoming commandant and men of the Nigeria Army in the State.
