Kogi State Governor, Capt Idris Wada, has called on the family the late Chief John Bosede Ajayi, the father of Chief Mrs Modupe Jemibewon, left behind to take solace in the fact that their father left behind milestones that can each and collectively be sufficient to console the family.

Capt Wada stated this at the funeral service and reception of Late Chief John Bosede Ajayi, held at St John Catholic Church, Orin Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The Governor who was represented at the funeral service by his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, described the late patriarch as irreplaceable, prayed the inexhaustible grace of God to fill the deep void that the departure of the late patriarch will create in the corporate and the individual lives of members of the family.

Capt Wada described Late Chief Ajayi as a reputable icon who distinguished himself in many fields of endeavor and attracted honour to himself, said his fame was quite remarkable.

Capt Wada said the state government and it’s people mourn the loss, urged that the fulfillment of the days of Late Ajayi, the great name he built and the proud children he left behind, help console the family.

Earlier in his homely, Most Rev. Gabriel Abegunrin, Archbishop of Ibadan Diocese, called on Nigerians to live lives worthy of emulation.

The Clergyman tasked Nigerians on the need to live lasting legacies that would outlive them, urged parents to train their children in very responsible manner,appealed that rather than think of what the country will do for them, Nigerians should think of making the country great by contributing to the socio economic development of the country.

Governor Ayo Fayose, of Ekiti State, former Governor Kayode Fayemi, and Segun Oni, among other prominent Nigerians all attended the funeral service, described Late Chief Ajayi, as a man that will be remembered for his positive contributions to Ekiti State, called on the family he left behind to take solace in the good works of their father by renewing their commitment to the development of the state.
