A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Let The Weak Say… [11/11/2016]

Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Joel 3:10. Read: 2 Cor 12:8-10

The Bible says, let the weak say I am strong. This means that, God knows that there is weakness and the only antidote is strength. The strength against your weakness can only be derived from three sources. 1) Others. To a certain extent, we derive strength from others when they encourage us when we fellowship together. Other’s encouragement is limited. 2) God. God is the source of all encouragement and strength. Everyone has a weakness which when we recognize, we have to lean on God to help us manage (because it might be removed) it. Paul said, when I discovered my weakness, I begged God to remove it, And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. We can overcome or control our weaknesses through God’s strength. Dan 11:32, Php 4:13

3) Yourself. The third source of our strength in weakness is ourselves. This is very important. Your strength in weakness is so much important because even when God tries to strengthen you and you fail to strengthen yourself, His strength won’t work for you. For instance, the price for your weakness and diseases has been paid on the Cross but you can still decide to be weak and sickly in your body. Isa 53:3, Heb 4:14-16. Your freedom is in your mouth, you must proclaim it to be free. Others, God cannot do it for you but yourself alone. Let the weak say, I am strong.
