Text: Colossians 1:9-12
God is committed to make our lives “only” what He has destined it to be. He will not do for us what is not in His plan for us. And one beautiful truth about God is that, He has already provided all that we need to fulfilled the mandate of heaven for our lives (2 Peter 1:3).
Jesus said in John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” We must understand that the mandate of heaven for us is time bound. It is for a specific period of time. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, there is a time for every purpose under heaven. Jesus fulfilled his in 33 (thirty-three) years and 6 (six) months. So you’ve got the duration of life, which is short, to fulfill the mandate of heaven. This is the more reason you need to get started on it now.
Now you might ask, but how do I get to discover heaven’s mandate for me? Scripture makes us understand in 1 Cor. 2:9-10, that the plan of God is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. Jesus had to be filled and inspired by the Holy Spirit before He discovered His (Luke 4:14). The Holy Spirit is there to help you discover God’s mandate for you, all you need to do is to establish a relationship with Him today and all you need to know will be yours.

Dear Father, thank You for making available to me, through the Holy Spirit, Your mandate for me. I am filled with its knowledge in all wisdom and spiritual understand as I give Him free course in my life, in Jesus name, amen.
