TOPIC: Power To Receive The Spirit Of Revelation (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 1 August 2020)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Proverbs 19-21

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 11:2; Micah 3:8 (KJV)

Isaiah 11:2;
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Micah 3:8;
8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

MEMORY VERSE: “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:” – Matthew 3:16

The MESSAGE:

In today’s devotional, there are deep lessons to learn. A woman brought her son to me for deliverance. The boy was so thin and looked like he was going to die the next minute. His mother had taken him everywhere for healing, but all to no avail. When she brought the boy to me, I asked what the boy did to her. She answered and said, “So, you can see.” What happened was that, in her witchcraft meeting, she was asked to donate her son and she did not want to, because he was her only child. But, the problem was that she and her coven members had eaten up the boy’s liver. The paradox of the whole story was that medical reports indicated that the boy’s liver as well as his kidney and his organs were intact.

Another woman also brought her son, a student of a Nigerian University, to me. The boy was like a vegetable. He had been taken to many places without any solution. After praying for him, I asked the boy just one question: “Who did you sleep with?” The boy told me to ask his mother to go out. I therefore requested the mother to leave where we were. The boy then narrated to me how he had gone to the lagoon-front one night. There he saw a young lady sitting at the corner floor of the lagoon-front. Though he had never met the lady before, then he began to talk to her. This eventually led to his having an intercourse with the strange lady. After the immoral act, the lady disappeared into the lagoon. Due to the sexual act, half of his brain disappeared with the strange lady into the water.

It is when your eyes are opened that you will have what the Bible calls “revelation knowledge.” God talks by revelation and He prepares us through revelation. Revelation is an uncovering. It opens and enhances the seeing power of your eyes. Revelation also means an unveiling. When you receive a revelation, you will be revealed your cause of action. The more divine revelation you have, the better your life will become and the faster you will fulfil your divine destiny. You must pray for the fullness of the spirit of God today, without which you cannot have revelation knowledge.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Every power sitting on my divine promotion, clear away, in the name of Jesus.
  2. My glories, my head, arise and shine, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Every strongman behind the poison of darkness in my body, come out now, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. Let the altars of affliction of the strongman assigned against my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Every strongman behind stubborn problems in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Every power behind the strongman of persistent problems in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
  4. Every strongman behind yokes acquired in the dreams, die, in the name of Jesus.
